Make a Logo Background Transparent

A logo with a white box around it looks amateur on colored slides and websites. Remove the background to get a transparent PNG that blends into any design.

How it works

1

Upload your image

Drag your logo (JPG or PNG) into the tool. JPG, PNG, WebP and BMP files up to 10 MB are supported.

2

Let the AI cut out the logo

EraseBG detects the logo shape and removes the background, keeping edges smooth.

3

Download and test

Place the PNG on a dark and a light background to check the edges before using it everywhere.

Tips for the best result

  • 💡 Start from the highest-resolution logo you have; small, blurry logos give jagged edges.
  • 💡 Flat logos with solid colors work best. Gradients and thin outlines may need a second pass.
  • 💡 If you have a vector file (SVG), use that instead for print; transparent PNG is best for web and slides.
  • 💡 Check for leftover light halos by previewing on a dark background.

Frequently asked questions

Does a JPG logo keep its quality?

Output is a PNG at the original dimensions. A JPG with compression artifacts can still show them, so start with the cleanest file you have.

Can I get an SVG back?

No. The result is a raster PNG. For infinitely scalable logos you need a vector tool.

What about white logos?

A white logo on a white background is hard for any AI to separate. Place it on a dark background first, then upload.
